What We Consider To Be An Acceptable Faulty?

Solution

A typical faulty for us is:

  • You printed the design on the wrong colour
  • You printed the wrong design on the shirt
  • You sent my order to the wrong address

Here is a list of possible issues and how we handle them.

Printing Faults

Rule 1: The printing method we use for drop shipping is 100% digital. Which means this method relies on the colour setting in the art-file and the printer profiles to output the image.

Print Variations

There can be variations between different garment styles - with different garment fabrics - different garment weight (GSM) -  different shades of white (Blue White, Vivid White, and Yellow White).

It's like the difference between the print result from an ink jet printer, using normal paper compared to using photo gloss page. The print result will be different.

There can also be variations between our different printing equipment. We do try to calibrate them similarly but as this is a digital process, there can be variations. We consider this to be standard in our industry. Slight variations with print output can not be accepted as a faulty.

Garment Faults

Garments are manufactured in high volume in a low price category. There are never perfect. There are always small imperfection and very minor blemishes. As such some marks would be considered within acceptable limits from the manufacturer who would not accept the return. We generally have a rule; can you see it from a meter away or under a magnifying glass.

Soiling

Please Note: Whites are magnets for dirt and they do discolour over time.

We do check our products over before they are shipped. However, it's just not feasible to do it close up in areas like armholes and hems and seams. We check where your customer will look; ie at the printed areas.

We would not accept returns for soiling past our 7 days from delivery returns policy.

Label Re-branding

Label re-branding is a fiddly job that we only get one shot at. As much as we try, if the label is slightly off centre or not 100% straight. Please be reasonable.

If you stick to the same brand and create black labels that are meant to go on a black manufacture label, these issues will not be noticed.

However if you have not paid for other variations - like when the manufacture has a white label and you don't have a white label set - a return for an off centre label is not acceptable.

Pack-ins

A claim of faulty can not be make if we fail to add a pack-in when the customer requested a pack-in.

Poly Bagging

A claim of faulty can not be make if we added poly bagging to the product when the customer requested no poly bagging. Or visa versa.
