Artwork - Neck Label Re-Branding Design Template

Solution

Neck Label Re-Branding Service (What is this?)

Please note: this re-branding process is not 100% perfect. It is a tricky process; tricky to put on, and can sometimes can have heat issues. If you are looking for perfection, this may not be for you, however, it's the most cost effective method we currently have. If you are after sewn labels, this is not possible for one-offs, and you will have to print in bulk.

Label Specifications

Please note: Some brands have different size labels among their product ranges which may require different sized labels.

ASColour Brand Labels

AS Colour has been transitioning their neck labels since 2021. They do not have consistently sized neck labels throughout their range. Also, some styles will come with either a white label or black label - you may need to consider setting up both. Due to this inconsistency, if you order many varied styles, we can set up just for the standard template and review, as each style comes through, if a new neck label set up is required.

White and light coloured t-shirt have white labels and dark coloured t-shirts have black labels.

Please note: Currently the Sportage brand has different size labels. White is larger than the black and if you use the black template and order white shirts the label may not fit properly. They are phasing out this larger white label, but it may take some time to do so.

So the result is this...

If you are really fussy, you may consider going with 2 different size templates which will come with an additional set up fee.

 Customer Questions

Q: Do I need to pay $29 for every brand?
We don't recommend using every brand in our range (from a consistency point of view) but if you have/want to and you don't want the labels to look odd because they don't fit properly, then yes, you will have to get different versions made to cover every scenario.

Q: Do I need to pay $29 for every style?
There are some styles, within the AS Colour range that have different sized tags, and simply reducing the size of your label art won't work, due to the different aspect ratio. So, Yes, you will need to set up separate labels. See the list above.

 File Specifications

Only acceptable format is PDF true vector.

You can get away with a low res image for your design, but the pink cut line needs to be in a vector format, so our machines can cut around the label. Do not send raster files like .PNG, .JPG or .PSD or Raster files converted to a PDF as we can't use these files.

If you use our template you just need to layer your image under the cut file layer (as indicated by the pink line).
(In the layer labelled: Insert Art Here)

Do not link to external files - actually place your logo in the file itself.

Follow this Guide for how to do this with Illustrator

Ensure your artwork is at least 2mm away from the pink cut line, on each edge.

Convert all fonts to outline.

Please Note: this is a very small artwork print area - small details/wordings/etc may not print legibly.
Once you create the file, print it off onto paper to check you are happy with the design, and any fine details.

A one off charge of $29.00 + GST ($30.80inc gst) for file set-up and to print a single row across a 500mm roll, (we then reproduce strips on demand as needed).
