Artwork - Can I have 2 different artworks for my product?

Solution

Our aim is to make the process really simple. So if we add complexity, we find this only leads to errors.

Due to the simplicity of the app, you can only upload one design per position per product.

So, if your artwork is different (even if it's just a colour change) we consider this to be a different product.

The only ways around this is either:

  1. Create artwork that will work on any colour
  2. Create another product in your shopping cart
  3. Change the artwork before placing each order (if applicable)

1. Create artwork that will work on any colour

  • This product has a print on a white, grey and black t-shirt but the artwork is the same on all colours. Example:
    https://www.tshirtshop.com.au/shop/tuxedo-designs/tuxedo-shirt/

2. Create another product in your shopping cart

  • This product has different colour artworks, so it needs another product to handle the different coloured artworks and t-shirt colour variations. Example:
    https://www.tshirtshop.com.au/shop/off-the-runway/off-the-runway-mens-t-shirt/

3. Change the artwork before placing the order

  • Go to that products custom fields, change the uploaded artwork to the correct artwork version of the product your customer orders. Then use the  'Click to Order' button. If the next order requires the inverse artwork, then change it again and repeat. Your customer can't see the artwork uploaded and we only need the artwork that is attached when the order is placed. Just don't click the "Remove" button so the inverse artwork link remains live.
  • Yes the mock-up may be different, but as long as the tshirt colour on the order and the artwork match (even if it's inverted)
