If this is the first time using the custom fields and they're not working. Check your App's permissions.

Our app most likely does not have permission to make changes to your store. IE: It can't add the custom fields to your product in Shopify.

You need to give the app permission by adjusting your permission setting where you created the Private app.

If you missed this step. Set the following permissions for the APP to "Read and Write" these parts of your store.
