Woocommerce - Trouble Shooting your Woocommerce connection

Solution

RE: Troubleshooting Woocommerce

RE: Orders

If you can't see Woocommerce orders or the Orders Page does not load in the Dropshirt dashboard, then check the following:

1. Is there a problem with the API connection?
Make sure the API key (and URL) is the same as the settings in the Woocommerce settings page and the Dropshirt profile page.
Although you may be able to change it in your Dropshirt Dashboard, it won't work, as the two pairs need to also match in our Admin system. If you require a URL change, you will need to request this through support, from your account email address, for security reasons.

2. The URL must be the root domain.
If you have www. Add it. If not, leave it out.
Do not include http:// or https:// ; or /store, or /shop at the end of your URL
3. The woo order, in your store, must be in order status "Processing". Order Status "Completed" or "On Hold" won't work.

4. An order must have at least one Enabled product to show up in the list. So, check your product Dropshipping settings.

5. Ensure you have Plugin version 1.0.10 or higher installed, and have "I have plugin higher than 1.10" checked on the profile page.

6. We use Hotlinks to access your files (mockups/artworks) on your website. Some security settings block this, making it not possible for us to see/use your files. A way to test this is to log out of Wordpress, and then try to access one of your files on your store. If you can't, we can't. You will need to update your security settings to allow Hotlinks, and if possible, allow for only .pngs and .jpgs

Or you can give permission to just our websites, by using the following code in your .htaccess server file.

RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(www\.)?dropshirt.com.au [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(dashboard\.)?dropshirt.com.au
[NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(www\.)?tshirtprinting.com.au
[NC]

7. Only use numbers in the wholesale price field. Don't add ($) or other words like (+ GST) or (White: 15.70 Darks 19.60) Although our system is not strict (yet) it may affect your orders when it comes time for order placement.

8. Make sure WordPress debug is set to false:
define('WP_DEBUG', false); // in wp_config.php

9. If you have security plugins, you need to whitelist dashboard.dropshirt.com.au and tshirtprinting.com.au in the security software.

10. Or request the hosting company whitelist our IPs 162.214.79.88 and 162.214.79.92

11. If WordPress PHP Version 8+, update the Dropshipping plugin to version 1.0.24 or higher

RE: Products

You need to make custom attribute fields for products you want us to drop ship. DON'T create attributes in the Native Woocommerce attributes. They won't work.

Create one new product that you want us to drop ship. Inside that product, create (2) custom attribute fields: one for Colours and one for Sizes.

The attribute names you create are what your customers will see in your shop. These words (custom attribute names) are displayed on the product page for your customer to choose. They need to be the exact same words as in your Dropship setting separated by a comma. For example Colour,Size or Color,Sizes. The order depends on the order the attribute was added.

Once you have created your first product, use the 'duplicate' function to create all the others you want to dropship.

You can watch this video for step-by-step instructions:

If still no luck.

1. Send us screenshots of the plugin settings page.
2. Create a WordPress user account so someone can have a look at the site.
- use whatever user name you like
- email address: support@dropshirt.com.au
- make the password strong
(send to: support@dropshirt.com.au)

This support is free for Dropshippers who have orders needing to be fulfilled and are piling up - we will help.

For anyone who has just started - as we state on our website pages - we are not responsible for the set up of your store: you are. Support is available from our development team (Fees Apply).

*Don't panic: you can still use your store to sell your designs, without the integration being complete. The integration is only useful if you have orders needing fulfilment.

If you want it done for you.

  • If you want us to add and configure the plugin
  • Set up a shop with woocommerce on a WordPress Site
  • If you want us to add products to your store and configure them for dropshipping
